Ireland's first ever point in miniEURO point was enough to see them rise up the rankings for the European Minifootball Federation.

Lee Kill's men are up 25th in latest figures, up to and including games to December 31st 2014.

There is no doubt about who is top of the pile. Romania – five times Champions – are 1700 ranking points ahead of Czech Republic, with Montenegro third.

Slovenia’s heroics in reaching the final see them move from 18th in 2013 to 13th this time.

Scotland - who the Irish team so enthusiastically supported on their run to the quarter final's - moved up 18th, Wales are two places above Ireland and England slip a place to twelfth.
